Who we are: Finst (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides accounting and advisory services in the United Kingdom.

  • Identity & contact details (e.g., name, DOB, address, phone, email)

We require all processors to protect your data and act only on our instructions.

International transfers

  • Enquiries: typically up to 24 months after last contact

  • Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe or request deletion

  • Client files & financial records: generally 7 years from the end of the engagement (or longer if required for tax/legal reasons)

  • AML/KYC records: usually 5 years after the end of the business relationship (per AML regulations)

  • Analytics data: retained per our analytics provider’s settings (often up to 26 months)

We retain only what we need for the purposes set out above.

Your rights (UK GDPR)

  • Withdraw consent (where consent is our basis)

Security/Children/Updates

  • We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk (access controls, encryption where appropriate, least-privilege access, staff confidentiality, and supplier due diligence). No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.

  • Our services and website are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data about children via the website.

  • We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change accordingly. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you.
